December saw lots of landmarks for us. Starting with passing the first trimester and entering the second. I am so thankful to write that down. This growing bump is a landmark all of its own, photos in progress, just waiting for energy to join the party. We hosted our very first Christmas Day at our place. Of course, as our luck would have it, it was the wettest Christmas Day Sydney has had in 70 years. And yes, our whole day was planned outside. After a few minor (what felt like major) changes we made it through the day extremely happy, grateful and just a little wet. December 31st saw Daniel and I celebrate the end of our last year of just the two of us. This was definitely a celebration for us.
I am really looking forward to 2013. We haven't set any goals for the New Year as yet, we are a little slow like that. We will be keeping it minimal as I think our energy and focus will be elsewhere and not so much on ourselves.
For now though - this is how I am spending 2013 for as long as I can.
And the baby seems to be doing pretty much the same thing.
Which doesn't explain why my energy has not come back yet! I am waiting patiently.
Welcome back and happy new year. Congrats on passing your 1st trimester. How adorabble :)
